hello this is Steve lead technician here at safe security and in today's instructional video we are going to explain how to replace your system backup battery for your ademco lynx control panel made by Honeywell you will notice at first there's a do you have two tabs at the top on each side of the control panel to put a small screwdriver into pop open pop on one side and then you pop open the other side once you cracked open both sides the cover is not on a hinge so we recommend now they're having us another person here to hold the cover in our example we actually have a chair to hold the cover so it doesn't fall down now you'll see on your links panel you'll have two green motherboards and your system backup battery which sits at the top of the board that's attached to the wall what you will need to do is you need to remove the red and black wire that's attached to the green motherboar
