Product review & video
Finally, we have the
CDMA-X or the GSMX4G. And that unit is a
much smaller unit. It's designed to mount right
on the top of the cabinet. So you literally have a knock
out on the top of the cabinet that you can knock out, screw
this on, and this literally sits on the top of the panel. And the advantage
of this unit is it gets its power from
the panel, so as long as your panel has enough
power to power this unit, it's a little bit cleaner
of an installation, you don't have to mount a
separate unit on the wall; it even has a
little cable, so you don't have to worry about
stripping your own wire, it just connects in; and they
do make this in a Verizon communication option. So if there happens to be no
AT&T service in your area, The CDMA-X is a Verizon
version of the GSMX4G. So again, these are cellular
only, just another option. Any of these
communicators will allow you to use Total Connect
