How to Replace the Parallel Port PCIe Card Before you begin: Remove the side panel. Removal Remove the T15 Torx-head screw that secures the parallel port PCIe card to the top of the expansion slot on the chassis. Gently lift the parallel port PCIe card and pull out to remove it from its slot on the motherboard.
