okay so this is how you're gonna kind of set up and use your little perlite so here's the light itself this knob over here it kind of has like a arrow that's the flood position that's the spot position so this just basically intensifies instead of the beam being out like this it's more narrow and focused in I think for our purposes anywhere from the middle - flood will will be just fine flood will give you the softest more dim light here on the back there is a little light switch at the on/off switch that's the off position that's the on position we'll leave it off and then over here on this side there is a head tilt adjustment knob so if you loosen that up you'll be able to tilt the head up and down tighten it back up it'll lock it into place this knob here simply clamps the light onto the stand onto the shaft of the stand here and then this knob you'll see kind of has a screw in there
