everyone John meet here author of 50 things to see with a small telescope I'm here in my garage with the telescope all set up out front to talk about a need 2 inch diameter 20 millimeter eyepiece so the Box just came in the mail today and open it up see what's inside ok this thing is huge so I'd say this weighs about a pound and it's quite well-built big full-size lens cap there on the top near this thing alright it seems like telescope is a 1500 millimeter focal length so with the 20 millimeter eyepiece you're looking at about a 75 in magnification much you could have barlow on it so I did try it with the barlow which brings it up to 150 times magnification the issue is it's really hard to get the stars in to pinpoint focus I think there's just that's just a little bit too much magnification you still get the wide field view but you lose some of the contrast so right now the telescope'
