Orion 8243 8mm Stratus Wide-Field Eyepiece

[Music] hello today we're going to talk about upgrading your eyepieces specifically upgrading them to the Orion Stratos eyepiece these things are nice typically when you get a new telescope you're going to get one or two eyepieces and typically they're going to be puzzles like these too this is a 25 millimeter Orion puzzle and this is a 9 millimeter Orion puzzle they both came with this telescope now you can upgrade them to something like the Orion Stratos this is a 24 millimeter this is the 25 that came with the telescope notice the size difference in the 2 but notice that they are both inch and 1/4 here now what's a little different is the Stratos also has a 2 inch right here so you can use it in any telescope that takes inch and a quarter or two inch eyepieces your typical possible is around 50 to 52 degrees in a field of view what that means is when you look through the eyepiece in
