hi i'm ted simple easy save these are the words that come to my mind when using my own equipment to access my comcast internet service and um this modem has a router built built-in and wi-fi built-in and it is model mg7550 and i'll add a link to the amazon page that has this product listed and it's very easy to connect if you want to connect an ethernet cord you can but you can actually do the registration with comcast using wi-fi another thing to note is that you don't even need to call comcast you can use the comcast web page to uh register the modem and set it up with comcast um let's take a look at one thing that can be concerning when you look at the amazon web page and if you scroll down on the product page one of the um first reviews that's listed has some concerns about the product not being totally compatible with comcast so what i did was i sent an email to motorola and i aske
