Netgear CM1000 Cable Modem & 5Port Gigabit Switch Bundle

[Music] how's it going everybody grab yourself a cool beverage and let's get ready to learn something new hey everybody I'm back again with another video this is the Netgear cm 1000 high speed cable modem so the reason why I am showing this cable modem off is that I have just replaced it from my standard Comcast cable modem I switched to Xfinity mostly for price but once I started researching what cable modems to buy I discovered that there is a big difference in the last three years between the DOCSIS 3.1 and the 3.0 so DOCSIS 3.1 is as close to fibers you're gonna get with coax and even though it's not gonna be fully utilized as of now it is going to become the standard eventually so since I wanted to save that $10 a month that I was paying to Comcast for a cable modem police I decided to do a self install and get this off of Amazon I'll leave a link in the description to get this off
