hey guys today i'm going to show you how to set up your motorola mb86 cable modem so here we go first thing you want to do is go ahead and find a coaxial cable outlet go ahead and plug that in if you're putting it directly in your computer hopefully you have a long cable or if you're using a wi-fi router it doesn't really matter because the router is going to do the work for you so go ahead and plug in the other side to your cable modem and then if you want to make it tighter there's a supplied wrench with the package so you can you know use that to make it tighter if you want then go ahead and plug in your power so i put in my surge protector here and make sure that the uh cable modem is powered off the default setting is off with the button sticking out make sure it is off once you plug in the power then go ahead and put in your ethernet cable and then plug in the other side to either
