hi welcome back to my Allen Bradley PLC test bench today we're going to do a little add-on module for the PLC 5 that's a 1 7 8 5 e n ET in this case series B about 6 over here that I need to test and so muzzle do a quick video on them these are very handy in being able to put onto the B series processors and able to give you Ethernet communication ability on a non Ethernet processor now there are a couple provisions on these you're always best to use them once after 1999 which is the B Series and they've got the ethernet IP symbol on them this way they can communicate with control logics without having to have the old-style Ethernet communications they're very handy the main provision is you have to have the slot right beside the processor clear because this module plugs into the processor using what's called a comb this is a 62 pin header and it plugs into here and the other end plugs
