welcome to my youtube automotive channel today i'm on a car salvage and i will show you how to remove and replace the factory radio unit on a 2009 dodge caliber this video applies to dodge calibers from 2007 all the way up to 2012. okay so the first thing you want to remove is this uh plastic trim piece that's surrounding the radio now you can just pop this out the best tool to use would be a plastic trim remover uh i'm on a car salvage so i'll be using this metal metal thing because i really don't care if i damage the dashboard or make any scratches but you should be more careful than i am before you start popping out this plastic trim and what you want to do you want to pop out this bottom plastic trim just like this i'm going to show you why because the top piece uh bottom lip it just stuck under this plastic so it would be on the way you don't have to remove it completely just pop i
