hey guys welcome back today we're gonna be talking about lift struts for camper shells how to pick the right one if you are replacing these hopefully you have one you can measure but if you don't what measurements do you need to take to get the correct replacement so if you're lucky enough to have one still attached you can remove that and measure that one because you know it'll be correct if you don't you'll have to guess but with a few measurements we can approximate what lift strut we need so I'm going to show you how to measure the one that you currently have and then we'll move on to measuring if you don't have one on your vehicle already and to remove these they have a spring clip you just pry out on it comes loose you have to be careful cuz now there is nothing holding this glass up I'm gonna do the same thing up top pop that off and sometimes there will be numbers on here that g
