all right James here in this video I'm going to show you how you can strip techniques SL mop to turntable back to the faceplate I've been getting a lot of emails and questions people ask him you know how I'll get the face plate off of a technics turntable to paint it well basically you can't it's not a case of taking the face plate off the turntable was the case of taking everything on the turntable off the face plate the face plate on the turntable isn't just something you can just unscrew and remove its that is actually the main part of the turntable everything is bolted to the face plate so if you want to paint it you have to basically take everything off the face plate and that's quite complicated but if you just follow a few steps and you know remember where you put the screws bear in mind that you know you might have to write a few things down as well you'll be fine okay now first
