hello it's Phil thatch here and I would like to talk to you a little bit about remote shutter release cable releases for the nikon z6 and perhaps other nikon cameras as well i've had a couple of viewers in recent videos comment and ask what remote shutter release i'm using so i thought i'd do a really quick video and talk about that just a little bit there's several different names for a remote shutter release let's say Nikon calls there's the Nikon MC - DC - remote release cord the one I'm using is made by a company called villo and it is the Velo RS - in - and then - I so it's like n2 - wired remote switch for select Nikon DC - 2 cameras which I guess DC - - is the type of connector that the z6 and the z7 use and I'll show you that a little bit later so I always used the Velo third-party remote shutter release cable release because it's way less expensive for example the Nikon MC - DC
