Turntable Belt for Technics SL-1600 Turntable Tonearm

[Music] so this is my technics SL 1600 turntable I've had this turntable for a few years now but it needs a little bit of work and I also want to perform a modification to it the work that it needs is the tonearm QD dampener when I got it it was totally dry it dropped like a brick but I actually didn't have the correct type of silicone lubricant that you need so I just used some silicone plumbers grease that I had on hand which seemed to work at the time but over the last year or so it's been dropping faster and faster as to the point now where it makes a pretty hard bit England hits the record so let's take it apart again and relocate that the other thing I'm going to do is perform a modification to allow the playback of 78 rpm records on this turntable it's actually not too difficult of a mod to do being a DC servo type circuit and not the courts lock that the mark tubes had it's actu
