kill them welcome back everyone we heal here and today I'm putting my two turntables up against each other although they have completely different characters to Carl Richards arms I am mostly going to compare the differences between these two and what you can expect from turntables that are well between 30 and 40 years old starting with my JVC ql7 which was made in 1977 and when I got it it was completely original but it suffered from a lot of nicotine residue and I needed a huge cleaning job I managed to get it clean for about 97% but I'm some parts and nicotine just fused with the material and you know that's that can't be clean anymore so that was about nine years ago I bought it from somebody who inherited it from his grandfather and everything came with it like the manual the cartridge is the box and this was before the vinyl resurgence and I bought the entire package for about 75
