is the sonos play one worth it in 2021 yes depending on what you're planning to use it for so this marks the second video in the sonos series the first one was when i covered the sonos play 3 which is definitely still worth it but let's look at the sonos play one so let's not compare it with anything else right now let's talk about sound on its own how does it hold up so the play ones produce a decent sound and at the very least you need a pair of these and i say that because i believe when it comes to carrying the bass they struggle just a little bit and if the play ones are your introduction to sonos sound you probably wouldn't realize what the big difference is yes the sound is still good but it doesn't give that premium sound that you would get when it comes to listening on something like the play threes and that's what i really appreciate with the play threes they're really good at
