welcome to the dupli-color garage my name is brian and in today's video i'm going to show you how to achieve a distinctive custom finish on the accessories of your engine that you can both see and feel with vht's wrinkle plus now wrinkle plus recreates that wrinkle finish that was popular back on the muscle cars in the 60s and 70s and we're going to add that finish to the valve covers here on the engine thanks mark so one of the cool things about this finish it's heat resistant up to 350 degrees which makes it perfect for this application now this valve cover has an existing finish on it and the first thing we have to do is prep it i'm going to start with the dupli-color paint stripper [Music] all right the paint stripper did a great job here you can see these valve covers are all good and clean i went ahead and scuffed this one down with the red scotch brite pad and what i'm going to d
