Turntable Belt for Fisher MT-26 Turntable

okay so this is a fischer mt6220 it is a belt driven semi-automatic turntable i'm going to show you how to change the belt and check a few things so of course first make sure it's unplugged from power and then lift your dust cover now the dust cover does actually slide off if you bump it to the right and up it will pop right off so you do not need to remove the hinges so the hinges screw on on the back and they just hang out there you'll then want to remove the mat off of the platter so the platter if you have not changed the belt on one of these in a while or you found one at a vintage or thrift store like i did it may be seized to the center spindle they rotate at the same time no matter what but they're actually two separate pieces they're not held in place by a screw or anything like that on this model so on the in on the mt-6220 you can just pop the platter off if yours is seized y
