Webstar DPC2100 Cable Modem

i called comcast to activate this modem they gave me such a hard time i was on the phone for five hours but knew this modem should work as it is the same as i was renting for seven oh oh a month they kept saying that the modem could not find the server they then said i could be transferred to advanced tech when doing that they wanted 79. oh oh to hook up not an option i finally said i wanted credit because of not having internet and would call every day i did not have it within an hour later i was back online with modem and routed back in place the title says it all by pay comcast to rent a modem when you can purchase the same exact modem for a fraction of the price of any other cable modem i figured i could risk dollar 20 at worst it would get returned and i would buy a more expensive new cable modem so far so good same blazing speed plug and play setup and seamless integration with co
