hi this is Jose della 40th thanks for joining us on toolbox Tuesday today we're going to take a look at the sure switch contractor upgrade made by white rogers so let me tell you a little bit about this device this is a pretty awesome feature that we have now we have a solid-state electronic contract contactor upgrade kit this one here is good for up to five tons for the 40 amp full load amp application so if you're putting it on a smaller unit it's not a big deal it can handle up to 40 full load amps it's a sealed system there's no actual contacts because they're all solid-state so what this means is shatter that could be caused by low voltage is going to be done away with because that constant shattering of contactors that kills compressors if the voltage drops in and out it's also got a brownout protection so if the voltage starts to drop it shuts it down and short cycle protection b
