Wireless Motion Detector for 2gig, Honeywell, and Vivint

Hi, DIYers. This is Frank at Alarm Grid. We're back in the Alarm Grid video lab, working on the 2GIG GC3 panel. Today, we're going to show you how to test your 2GIG PIR1-345. We already have a video on our channel regarding how to program this sensor in. This is the pet immune motion passive infrared motion detector that comes with the GC3 or with the GC3 kits if you purchased it in a kit, or you can also purchase these separately from a 2GIG dealer. So as far as programming goes, check out that video. Once you have this programmed, the first thing you should do, ideally, before even installing it, is test it. So the way that you test this motion is a little bit different than other motion detectors, specifically Honeywell. It requires a magnet to get into that Testing Mode.
