Setting up activity zones on Arlo Pro 2 cameras is easy to do but the camera needs to be plugged in to activate this feature. I got this waterproof power cord from Lanmu just for this purpose. It’s 16 feet long and comes with a USB power adapter. What makes this Arlo power cord waterproof is the silicon ring around the USB plug that goes into the camera. Without this cord, you can still set up activity zones but they won’t be active until the camera is connected to AC power as shown here in the Arlo app. The Lanmu power cable plugs into the back of the Arlo Pro camera and has a secure tight fit. It also has a 75 degree angle on the connector to minimize any interference with the magnetic Arlo wall mount. And you can use the included USB adapter or one you already have.
