hi I recently had a friend challenged me to do something with a device that he picked up this is a set of miniature lights they're currently wrapped around the cardboard tube but what his goal was to take these wires between the lights and kind of form them into a tree or some decorative element and then put this on his outdoor model train layout this set of lights has about 8 different modes and if I can plug this in I'm just plugging this into USB right now to get 5 volts you can press a button on the controller it goes from warm white to colored colourful red yellow and blue and green to flashing flashing color fading warm white fading color and now flashing fading again and finally off the challenge that he gave me was to come up with some way that this would change automatically either as a train went by or as a person went by his outdoor layout and by taking this apart I discovere
