[Music] ammonia plus comes with a special function called damping factor control that allows us to compensate for signal losses due to the electrical resistance of cable in between speakers and amplifiers to apply the damping factor control we go under config damping and we then select one or more loudspeakers or group allowed speakers that we want to apply this function to in this case we'll pick the subs group we then click enable in the properties pane and a message will pop up prompting us to confirm if we want to activate the damping control and also notifying us that the damping control function is only applicable to frequencies up to 400 Hertz and therefore it is only relevant to low frequency loudspeakers once the damping control is active we can then calculate the cable resistance based on its length and cross sectional area if we need to change the measurement system this can
