this is the lockpicking lawyer and what i have for you today is a tiny little switch lock that was sent to me by daniel in kansas it's a cabba micro which i believe is a mini version of the kaaba eight it has eight pins divided into two staggered and opposing rows of four there are no security pins in here at least none that i could feel but that's not a detriment in this swiss-made lock that's because it has such extraordinarily tight tolerances that the lack of spools or serrations actually makes it harder to feel when a pin is set with high precision locks like this my approach is generally to sequentially press each of the pins softly being very careful not to overset anything then eventually the pins will start binding harder and at that point the lock usually opens quickly so let's get this in a vise and try to open it up okay let's make sure that putting that in the vice and sque
