hello what I got for you here is a little bypass this is an Adam's right 4900 series dead latch you get the latch there down below you have the dead latch pin that pin gets pushed in and you can't force the latch back it's deadlocked so let's try to show you this bypass method for it it only works if the back of the keyway is open if it's a closed dive q8c this one here old mortise cylinder the backs open you can get a piece of wire all the way through it if it's closed on the back this isn't going to work the number two requirement is there has to be a little bit of space on the door for you to get to the latch and use a there's a bunch of latch knives on the market for push them back latches so you have to have enough room to get to that and the lock has to be open all the way so what I'm going to do is get a piece of tape here to simulate that dead latch being pushed in so now the do
