"Motion" detection feature is a smart way to know if someone is entering your vacation home, or your regular home when you are not there. Get alerts within seconds by text and email.

Another useful feature, the "No Motion" detection is ideal for keeping a helpful and caring watch on elderly people staying alone. You can set the sensor in the kitchen or bathroom or bedroom, and set upto 2 schedules, and if the sensor has not detected motion for a given time, it will send you an alert. Even more, you can install multiple sensors, and make them work together in synchronization.

Not only does it detect motion, it will tell you when was the last time motion was detected upto within 24 hours.

so in this video we're going to use an Arduino board with Wi-Fi capabilities and a range sensor to create an apparatus that will send you a text message when it detects motion that way you can make an intruder alarm [Music] [Music] yo chill with the broom you know your doors unlocked right sorry I'm an idiot so to do this video you're going to need an Arduino UHN or an Arduino Leonardo with a Wi-Fi shield you're going to need a range sensor you're gonna need a couple female-to-male wires you're going to need a 9-volt battery and a 9-volt battery pack with a barrel plug to power your Arduino and an on/off switch okay so the first thing we need to do is let's hook everything up according to this diagram and let's just get our arrange sensor to test it to see if it's working so make all these connections here you could also use a mini breadboard to put the sensor in and make the connection
