Label sensor (upper)

[Music] today we're going to go over the setup of the label sensor this is our standard lion's eye photoelectric label sensor for the first part of the setup we're using an opaque paper label on an opaque paper liner how the label sensor works is there's a sender and a receiver portion and when the gap between the labels passes between it it triggers you know it triggers when the yellow indicator light comes on but as you can see here it's not triggering that's because this sensor hasn't been set up yet so what we need to do is start by pulling the label out of the sensor pulling the label off of the liner and putting just the liner in the sensor then what you do is you press the plus and the minus buttons together that'll give you the red indicator light the red light flashing means it's in either learn or teach mode so now it's learned how much light it takes to shine through the line
