Turntable Belt for Onkyo CP-1116A Turntable

hi this is Jim's vintage collectibles today I'm going to show you how to replace the drive belt on a belt driven turntable this particular one is an Onkyo model CP 1116 a but a lot of them are pretty similar so these are run by a little rubber belt like that that connects the motor to the turntable a lot of them as they get older the belt either crack or on this one it was pretty stretched out so we didn't create enough attention so the first step you're gonna want to just pull the rubber mat right off and then to get this off sometimes you can just pull up by the finger holes here if it hasn't been removed in a while you might need to take a screwdriver rubber mallet or something and just give a little nothing right on there as you're pulling up so that'll expose the bottom this one I've already taken the old belt out but if you haven't obviously get that out of there and then you're j
