Ademco 5820L | Honeywell 5820L Wireless Slimline Contact

hi Tim here with Jessica secured again today I want to show you how to change the battery and if you ever need to relocate the 5820l ademco wireless transmitter this is a little different than some transmitters you know each application has a different type of transmitter here at chesco we probably install five different types of transmitters and hopefully we will have videos on each this is the ademco 5820l low profile small transmitter so it can be oriented anywhere on the doorframe we set this one up here just as the way we typically commonly set it up to change the battery you will need a small flat bladed screwdriver okay to get into the cover look on one end of the the transmitter you will see a small slot gently put your screwdriver in while prying away and the unit will pull away and you'll see it's hinged at the bottom these are the screws that normally mount this to the doorfr
