welcome to n Co systems video on replacing the optical pick up unit in a CD Pro - thanks a lot for checking it out and we have here a fancy little jig that we put together to allow us to flip the CD pro - upside down so we don't set it down on the centering hub or whatever which will you know push the spindle down in there so we place it upside down in order to replace the optical pick up unit which is this thing here we need to remove the circuit board so we've got a t10 Torx screwdriver and we need to remove these four screws on the bottom side of the CD Pro so I'm going to do that notice also that I'm wearing a grounded wrist strap you should always be grounded to protect the module from electrostatic discharge nobody likes to wear a wrist strap but it is definitely a good idea when you start disassembling these modules especially when you're handling the circuit board so alright rem
