Honeywell Ademco 1361 16.5v 40VA Plug-in Transformer

[THUD] [CLICK] Hi, DIYers. Joe here from Alarm Grid. And today we're going to talk about two of the main transformers that you'll find on VISTA Systems. We have the Honeywell 1321 and the Honeywell 1361. Now both of these transformers work at 16.5 volts with AC, but they have a different power output. The 1321 outputs 25 volt-amps of power, where the 1361 outputs 40 volt-amps of power. Now if you have a VISTA System, you'll have one of these transformers installed. The 1321 comes with the VISTA's 15P, 20P, and other low-end models, whereas the 1361 will come with the 21IP, the 128BPT, the 250, and other larger models of the VISTA system All VISTA systems can use the 1361. Not all VISTA systems can use the 1321, the reason being is that the power requirement for certain setups is more than this single transformer can supply.
