hello again do-it-yourselfers terry peterman the internet electrician and welcome to another one of my video shorts on current topics so today i'm just going to give you a quick demonstration on how to add in one of these old work boxes so i'm going to use my demo board here with this little piece of drywall i've got on and i'm going to show you three different types of old work boxes and what those are is something that you want to cut in a an outlet box after the drywall is installed and you're not sure where the studs are and you can't really get into the stud to screw the box on so what you can do is clamp an old work box or a rework box into that drywall so i'm going to show you three different types today we're going to start with this one it's a metal box with these tab ears and i just found this the other day some rework box brackets for this type of a box with ears so we're goi
