this video will show you how to retrofit a von dupren 9899 device with an rx lc switch this step is necessary when using an ad300 or ad400 series 993 exit trim these are the tools you will need if the device is on the door you will need to remove it remove the two screws and slide the mechanism case off slide the push bar towards the center case and disengage cut the yellow wire off the rx switch place the rx switch assembly over the rear guide base and snap it into place secure it with the nylon screw route the wires through the hole in the exit device base plate feed the wires to the end of the base plate secure them with the nylon tie to ensure they are not interfering with any moving parts reinstall the push bar feed the wires along the groove underneath the base plate and holding the wires tight and depressing the push bar slide the mechanism case back on route the wires through th
