this unit has stood up to the minnesota winter and works well i use the app and also have the video from the unit integrated into my home security motion detecting recording system the door bird has a great api only problem i've noticed is that it will sometimes disconnect from the internet at random but it always reconyx immediately i tried doorbot and ring pro and for me this is the best solution i love that it can be hardware readed with ethernet po which keeps traffic off my wi-fi network the wired approach also helps with speed and reliability the app notification when the doorbell is pushed is instantaneous another big benefit versus ring is that i can pipe this video into my network video surveillance system most people won't care about this but for me it's a big plus i'm also a big fan of the design we have a mid-century house and it looks awesome i recommend this door camera th
