[Music] adjusting the concealed vertical rods is accomplished by using the rod setup gauge and following a few simple steps please wear safety glasses when installing door hardware align the rod setup gauge over the device cutouts and center lines tape the gauge to the door [Music] connect the top latch to the rod assembly [Music] be sure the latch bolt is fully extended set the top latch assembly on the door and move it into place maintain an eighth of an inch space from the door edge next with the top latch assembly in position align the yoke pin hole in the arm and bracket assembly with the alignment hole in the rod setup gage if the rod is too long turn the assembly clockwise to shorten it if the rod is too short turn the assembly counter clockwise to lengthen it next with the bottom rod assembly in place on the door thread the deadbolt into the bottom rod make sure the bottom bolt
