and welcome back now this week we've got a quick video on this device you can see at the front here this is in fact a water level detector and for those of you with long memories you'll know that I tried to do a water well a rain detector many many many months ago probably a year or so ago using a prism and some kind of LEDs or laser thing which didn't end well because it just wasn't reliable enough frankly so a kind viewer has told me that this device was available on eBay and banggood and places like that and he said hey this might work better you know well as it happens this device wouldn't work as a rain sensor because these surface areas you can see here is just not big enough you could probably create an array of them though you need probably everyone know take ten of them you know scattered about on the borders of inelia might work but a single one like this probably not however
