Dakota Alert 12 - Volt DC Whistle

all right how's everybody doing so reason I made this video is because I got a dakota alert MERS the m5 38 driveway alarm and I've been using the cr123a lithium batteries for about a year and I just wasn't happy with how long there the batteries were lasting so I am going to attempt to hook it up to a stationary sealed lead-acid 12 volt battery you can buy them on Amazon or wherever they're basically used for kids go-karts or wheelchairs whatnot so I bought one of those and I want to do away with my cr123a lithium batteries I got a 12 volt battery which since these lithium batteries were wired in series the 12 volt should work fine I couldn't find any wiring diagrams or schematics online for this m5 3/8 unit so I'm just gonna have to kind of show you how to work your way through with a meter and figure out where to where you want to hook the 12-volt battery so as you can see I pop the b
