so this videos on how to transfer mini DV tapes from cameras such as a DX 2,000 or 1,000 or even something like this which is a just a Sony Handycam so to do this you will need either a Windows desktop PC or a MacBook and know having a Windows laptop will not actually work for this not that I know of is there's no way that you can transfer mini DV tapes from firewire through to Windows laptop which is so annoying because I've got a Windows laptop I don't have a Mac yeah I have a desktop PC that's how I did so unfortunately if you've got a Windows laptop it's not gonna work so the only way is to do it I know is if you've got a MacBook you can get a FireWire adapter you plug the adapter into the magma you plug the firewire cable it and then you plug it into your camera it will automatically detect it I believe and you can just take the photo job so for the other way is the way I do it is
