hi it's Matt from Testim tag training we'll be showing you how to test for leakage on a standard microwave oven this is a great add-on for people who are testing and tagging the microwave tester that we're using today is a fairly standard model which gives a digital readout before we begin hold down the zero button to clear the tester we will start by attaching a spacer to our tester this will ensure that we're measuring from the correct distance next hold down the max button on the tester this will provide us with the highest readout which need to be recorded the microwave needs to be running when we perform our test place a cup of water in the microwave before starting now slowly run the microwave tester around the seals and the front of the microwave as shown from the readout you'll notice that there might be some microwave emissions but in order to pass it needs to be below 5 milliw
