this video will show you what to do if your recorder keeps rebooting there are a few reasons that your recorder may be rebooting first verify the following try a different power outlet for example you can unplug the recorder from your surge protector and go directly to the wall or try a different power outlet on the wall verify that you are using correct power supply for your recorder not the power supply for one of your cameras or the switch if your recorder is still rebooting turn off all power to your recorder and disconnect the cameras from the back when you unplug the cameras nothing is being recorded to the harddrive this helps determine if the concern is with the harddrive or the operating system in the recorder turn the recorder back on if it is no longer rebooting this likely indicates that it is an issue with the hard drive if the recorder continues rebooting there may be an i
