hi it's john here from gps training what we're going to do in this short video is just look at some of the attachments and ways you can carry your garmin outdoor gps unit there's three ways of attaching or carrying your gps units the first one is if you've got a garmin etrex this is a 32x or alternative in oregon or etrex touch or garmin gps map 66 series you have what's called this spine on the back so again you get attachments and carabiners that will attach to this spine on the back it's a really nice simple process just get it on slip that on and now you've got attachment on your gps unit and then you can take it off by doing it that way so the spine is the one of the ways of attaching it all gps units also have an attachment on the bottom so you can attach a carabiner or something like that such a 66i has that attachment you can put a say a lanyard on the bottom um or there's vario
