hi I'm Dave Johnson from blue C systems I wanted to tell you a little bit about a product that was developed just two years ago it's called the remote battery switch all boats on the market today need a battery switch to protect them from potential fires on a boat it's in both the ebu IC requirement as well as a Coast Guard requirement and for years this this product has been handled by a manual battery switch that everyone can identify one of the problems with the manual battery switches is it's a bit of a compromise you need to either have it close to the location near the battery which makes it inconvenient or mount the battery switch in a convenient location which requires large runs of heavy and expensive cable the remote batteries which allows you to take the the battery switch itself not at very close to the batteries with a short cable and then run the connecting cable to the lo
