henry back to you hello this is the uh general uh model 3-5 804 g transceiver citizens band transceiver 40 channels it's a a very nice radio this radio is equipped with a single chip receiver which means that the uh first and second mixer in the receiver are all done with double balanced designs which gives very good sensitivity together with a large signal handling capability radio has 40 channels today there is a lot of skip because of the sunspots that are really picking up radio is uh 5 watts as allowed by the fcc uh i have it hooked up to a bird watt meter i have a 50 watt slug in there input power is 5 watts that means the output power is about 4. i don't know if you uh can see that it's exactly 4 watts according to the bird watt meter and this is the pswr radio runs off 13.8 volts dc obviously volume control squelch i like the ge designs they have easy to operate controls very ro
