hi guys i want to introduce this video as a revision to a previously published video i originally made a video showing how to connect uh sensors from various block occupancy detectors and also turn out position detectors to jmri so that they could be displayed and controlled on ipads iphones touchscreen computers etc i subsequently determined that there was a better way to make the connection for the turnout sensor and i have revised the last half of this video to reflect that better method of connection i've also added a couple of wiring diagrams to the description to help understand how the connections are made in this video we'll discuss the various ways that we can use sensors to detect occupancy of blocks on our layout track blocks to show whether or not a train is present we'll also talk about how to use sensors to display the point position of our various turnouts such as in this
