ELK Ethernet Port Interface

welcome to learning about the m1x EP the ethernet module as you can see here actually have one in the white project box that it comes in out of the box I've removed the top cover on the left-hand side of this is the rs-232 port the power turning plug and also the Ethernet jack the first thing we need to do is to be sure the m1 is actually powered on as you can see here mine is the next step we need to start connecting cables first I'm going to connect the serial ribbon cable from the Ethernet module itself into the m1 next I'm going to connect the cat 5 cable from my computer into the router or switch the router switch cat 5 cable into the Ethernet module itself I need to go ahead and power up either the router or switch and the last I need to go ahead and power up the ethernet module now the Ethernet module itself actually does have an orange power light that comes on on the Ethernet j
