what's going on today we're going to take a quick look at what i'm wearing this jacket this little puffy jacket so this is the amazon basics lightweight water resistant packable puffy jacket big long name or just a jacket it's only thirty nine dollars at least that's what i paid for and it is it's not down it is synthetic so it's probably clima shield or primaloft or something similar to that it's a polyester uh insulation which is fine um it's got its pros and it's cons like anything else um the polyester is a little more resilient to weather so let's say this is water resistant i don't know if i trust it in a downpour but uh if it does get wet polyester doesn't lose as much of its um insulating factor as down down is basically worthless when it gets wet and uh if you want water proof down or water treat it down waterproof treat it down that you're gonna pay way more than 39 um so anyt
