[Applause] hello everyone my name is Calvin with southern country living and today I'm gonna be showing you how to wire a 20 amp electrical outlet let me get started here and show you how to wire this up first thing you want to do is strip off your wire doing about think I'm doing a total of 35 with these on this project and that's a little bit too much sticking out I won't put them back just a little bit you only need about four inches sticking out of the box - baby wired up good I do like to have a lonely piece of ground because the ground has to be wrapped around the ground terminal okay don't strip the wires back okay on the outlet I'm installing all of my outlets with the ground hoe pointed downwards on these they go terminals on the right hand side it's for the hot wire and the silver terminals on left hand side is for the neutral so I'll go ahead and pull both my wires in that di
