Hi this is Travis with POSGuys.com. We have another Ask POSGuys question. This one we've gotten from a couple different customers. The scenario is that their receipt printer broke or something happened with their POS System. Where they have money stuck in their cash drawer but they have no way to open the cash drawer and they've also lost their keys. The easiest way to open the drawer is to get a new set of keys or get a new receipt printer. How you identify your key lock is, well if you have the key it is the number on the key. So in this case it is a POS-X drawer it says K04 and that is if your key got damaged or some sort. Also on the lock they have the same number that says K04. So that is how you find out your lock number. The manufacturer also might need your serial number. The serial number is typically on the bottom of the drawer or on the back.
